{Fashion Friday} A Fashion Filled Fourth

Who says your Fourth of July can't be both festive and fashion filled? Here's a little inspiration on how to look chic while celebrating this year. I've been so excited to get back in shape after having Mr. Brock and ditch my maternity clothes for some fun new frocks. I may have to go hunting for one of these super cute looks to add to my summer closet!

I found all of these looks on Pinterest, but their original sources are below. Follow me on Pinterest to see all of my favorite fashion looks and much more!

Here's to many more!

Vince and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary on Tuesday. I can't believe how much our lives have changed since then. I would have never guessed that in two years we would buy a home, start an Advocare business, and have a beautiful baby boy. To celebrate, here's our story...

{August 27, 2004} A cheerleading teammate of mine introduced me to a cute football player at a fraternity Back-2-School party. We hit it off and danced the night away.

{August 28, 2004} Vince called the very next day and asked to come over and watch a movie. Being the indecisive person I am, I let Vince pick out the movie. What did he bring?!?!? Bad Santa...a decision we still laugh about today!

{April 18, 2009} After almost 5 years of dating, Vincent proposed at Lone Star Park, our local horse track. Read our proposal story here.

{June 26, 2010} We were married at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas, TX and partied the night away with our family and friends at The Belo Mansion.

{Mommy On A Mission} Walk It Out

Happy Monday, friends! I'm kicking off today with a Spark and a workout...yes, a workout! I've still got 3 1/2 more weeks before I go back to my doctor and {hopefully} get cleared to start working out again, but until then I'm allowed to walk and do stairs.

As much as I want to break in the jogging stroller, getting an infant out in the Texas heat is probably not the best idea. Not letting that ruin my motivation, I picked up a DVD at Target to keep me busy in the meantime. As simple as it may be, I was happy to get 2 miles in this morning!

Hope everyone has a happy, healthy week! Here's a little pinspiration for today...

{Mommy On A Mission} Happy Friday!

We hope everyone has had a great week so far! I'm excited to post my first {Mommy On A Mission} update. Check out my previous post to lean more about my program + goals. I hope you'll join me in the journey! Be sure to follow my blog so you don't miss out on updates, tips, recipes + more!

Today's Weight Loss: 0.5 lbs
Total Weight Loss: 27.6 lbs

Today I'm focusing on getting at least 5 meals + tons of water. It's hard to remember to eat when caring for an infant 24/7, but I've noticed the days I don't eat at least 5 small meals I don't see any progress on the scale.

Since I'm not able to start working out for a few more weeks, my progress depends entirely on my eating. My motivation today comes from emeals and is all about clean eating...

Hope you have a healthy, happy Friday! If you're looking for supplements to help you reach your fitness goals, be sure visit our website!

{2 Weeks}

I can't believe my baby was 2 weeks old yesterday...time really does fly when you're having fun! He's changed so much since we first brought him home and I find myself spending all day trying to capture every moment in pictures and videos! Here's a little summary of Brock's first two weeks...

9 lbs, loves to snuggle, smiles & coos in his sleep, eats every 3 hours, started trying to hold his head up on his own, laughed for the first time, & hiccups everyday

{1} Daddy & Brock...snuggle buddies! {2} Brock went to Mass for the first time & slept through the whole thing. {3} Brock's 1st bath. {4} Sleeping Angel {5} Precious little feet! {6} Brock's first check-up. Dr. Mitchell said Brock was gaining weight at an astronomical rate...haha!

9lbs 10oz, started rolling over on his tummy, loves to play in his activity gym, started wearing ear molds, & eats every 2 1/2 hours

{1} Morning stroll with Mommy {2} Fussy, but cute! {3} Happy Father's Day, Daddy! {4} Gym Time {5} Snuggle time, anyone? {6} 2 week check-up...right before drawing blood & the hepatitis vaccine :( Dr. Mitchell called us a "giant"!

Brock started rolling over at 11 days old! I was so happy to catch it on film...

We hope everyone has a fabulous day!

It's been two weeks since having our precious baby Brock and I've been so excited to get back in shape! It's hard to believe, and even harder to admit, but 9 months of not being able to workout made for a 70lb pregnancy weight gain...yikes! I knew the minute I got home from the hospital I was going to get back in the swing of things and stop at nothing to get my pre-baby body back. Father's Day Fun!

We hope everyone had a sweet, relaxing Father's Day! Ours was filled with family, food and fun! Vince had a great 1st Father's Day and got some pretty cool gifts too...

{1} Vince got a new charcoal grill & broke it in by cooking a yummy feast. {2} One of Vincent's favorite gifts was a book my brother gave him of original Batman sketches. {3} Pappy enjoyed spending his Father's Day with his favorite snuggle buddy. {4}After being passed around all day, Brock was happy to finally get some time with Daddy.

We loved spending the entire day with both our families. I'm so thankful they both live in the same metroplex and love getting together for holidays! We hope everyone had a great weekend. Brock will be 2 weeks tomorrow and I'll have to catch up on posting pictures since he's been home. I can't believe how much he's already changed and the cool things he's already started doing. We are so in love with this little guy!

Hello World!

It's been a crazy, exciting month for us, but we're happy to report that Baby Chase is finally here!!! After a week of bed rest, three days in the hospital, and a week at home we are slowly getting into a daily routine with Mr. Brock. So, without further ado, here's a recap of our first few days with our little Brock Star...

Vincent Brock Chase
Born June 6, 2012 at 2:00am
9lbs, 22in

Thinking we were going to be induced at 5pm on June 5th, I headed to the hospital after a day of labor pains. It turns out Brock was determined to share his birthday with his daddy and I went into labor without having to be induced. Vincent arrived after work around 9pm to find a pain-free, relaxed wife (thanks to the aid of an epidural) and we passed time watching 'Tombstone' and Fox News. The doctor arrived just in time for delivery and after 2 short pushes, Brock was here! I couldn't have asked for an easier delivery...it was a magical experience and nothing like what I expected!

Both sets of Grandparents and Vincent's younger brother, Bryan, were anxiously waiting in the waiting room. After getting his weight and measurements taken, Brock was ready to meet the family!

Planning ahead, I made a hospital door sign for my birthday boys after finding out they were going to share the same birthday! Brock had non-stop visitors while we were in the hospital, but he managed to find plenty of time to sleep and hang out with daddy.

Before we knew it, it was time to go home! Vince had to go back to work, so Mammy & Pappy picked us up and drove us home. Tasha was SO excited to meet Brock and has become is biggest protector!

We couldn't be happier and are so thankful for our sweet, healthy baby boy!

XOXO,
